AIOLINA NEWS

Finally, after 5 months, Patsy had TWINS!

Casatiello is a “bread” that I have been making for over 30 years. It comes from Naples and is a tradition at Easter. It shows the richness that we should have. When I say rich, I mean RICH! This is more than just a loaded bread. Make this the day before Easter and serve at room temperature

My father’s parents are from Asti, which is the home of the original Palio so it irks him immensely that I have made Siena my home. But the Palio here is nothing like the Palio in Asti.
It is more. It is every feeling rolled into a huge endorphin explosion in your heart.
Most people, when asked where are they from or what they are, will give their nationality or ethnicity, but here in Siena you give the name of your contrada.

About me:

Ciao!
Thank you for visiting our blog.

I hope you will enjoy these articles about Aiolina, Siena and more.

After living in the province of Siena since 1994 and in the village of Vagliagli since 2001, I have a pretty good insider’s view that I love to share, be it through words or food.

If you have any questions or would like for me to write about something specific, you can contact me via WhatsApp (link on every page)

A presto,
Cristina
